Multi Million Dollar Williams Formula 1 Driving Simulators Phyics Engine Software Coming Late 2000....

This is very exciting...

Coming in Late 2000 will be a Road Racing/Oval  Game that will take your
simulated
driving experience to a new level.  Truthfully its the only simulator I have
driven
on ASPHALT that feels exactly like a real car.   Marc Nelson has driven this
software
as well and can attest to its incredible feeling.   Unfortunately I'm not a
tester for
this software.   This software was developed over a period of 12 years for
the
commercial professional driving world of Formula 1.  Williams and Winston
have
both built multi million dollar driving simulators for their drivers,  and
the public as
this tours tours the european circuit.  This technology was also used in the
Harrah's Formula 1 exhibit in Las Vegas.  Maybe some of you have experienced
it there.    Moving this level of technology from commercial to pc and
console based
games will increase the realism 10 fold.  I have also driven this on the the
oval
tracks and I swear you can feel each tire on the track and know when it
loses
and regains traction.   Thats about all I know now.   2001 should be the
breakout
year for racing simulation..  No more slugs on asphalt.  Now when you mass
the
gas, your gonna lose traction and deal with the consequences...

I sure hope the touch up the graphics though, i have never driven the
willams simulator but i did see the graphics and you could say the flat
polygons remined me of games like gp1.

Taking a commercial-level simulator and dedicated software and turning it
into a $50 game is not necessarily going to give us EXACTLY the same
experience as you have enjoyed, Don.
