NFS3 - How is it?

Multiplayer support is not important to me.  I would like to know if the
cars handle more like their real life counterparts.  Do the controls
still suck like they did in the first demo (never got the others)?  Any
other input would be helpful.

Thank you
Matt

No, it is completely arcadish. The different cars have different
grip/power levels, that's about it.

Not quite that bad. But it's still nothing like NFS 1. NFS 3 is an OK
diversion while I'm waiting for GPL to be released here, but I don't
expect it to last more than a week or two on my hard drive. Another
problem is that there's only 2-3 really fun tracks (as has become the
norm in the NFS series).

Save your money, it didn't get any better. It just doesn't give a good
feeling of the cars. It's worse than NFS2 and way worse than NFS.

I reckon it's way better than NFS 2, but still not as good as NFS 1.  Though
Hot Pursuit mode is great, epecially in multiplayer.

I never tried NFS1 but I reckon NFS3 is much better than NF2. The graphics
are fantastic - it's pure arcade but if you've got a LAN you can have some
great fun. It's the only racing game I know of that is *** tolerant -
unless of course those cops get you.
