Inexpensive Wheel Recommendations?

by jb » Mon, 15 Feb 1999 04:00:00

I'm looking to upgrade my $20 wheel to something a little more substantial,
but not substantial enough for it to look at home in a McLaren F1.
Somewhere around $60-$120 I guess.  The only ones I've really heard about in
this $ range are the Thrustmaster T2 / NASCAR Pro / NASCAR Super Sport.

I mainly run GPL and MGPRS2.  Any suggestions would be appreciated!!  Any
discount places to mail order wheels from?

I have a 'PC TOPDRIVE' wheel, which in my opinion is excellent quality for
just 49!

It has a steering wheel, with 4 buttons (although technically, it's 9,
because they're on both sides), a gear stick and a set of pedals.

Again, just 49!

If you are looking for inexpensive, but reasonable, then the Nascar
Sport is the way to go.

However, I have seen the Nascar Pro on sale for $79 every now and then.
That would be a better choice (in a way) if you can find that one at
that price.
