Road America - Which Sim?

I really want to do a few laps at Elkhart Lake in a sim other than GPL.  Is
this track available in other sim?  I have tried to find it for SCGT and for
F1 2KCS, but without any luck.

Cheers

Your best bet would be IndyCar Racing II by Papyrus

You may not want to hear this...but the best most accurate version of Road
America available today is.....
AMA SUPERBIKES.  A discount Valu-soft title that was available at Wal Mart.
The program was rushed, and even with an aggresive patching process, it
remains a buggy uneven title.  But the tracks.....graphically and more
importantly, the layouts are spot on...If you really want to learn Road
America...then find AMA.  Good luck...

Thanks for all the suggestions.  I did have ICR2 but could never really get
it to run properly.  I have long since passed it onto a friend.  And yes,
this was basically the same track that was converted to GPL.

I can't ever recall seeing AMA Superbikes here in Scotland, however, I will
be on holiday in the USA next month and will keep an eye out for it.

Does anyone know of a version for GP3?  I seem to remember trying one out a
few months back, but it was a very bad conversion of a GP2 track.

Regards

Stewart

A quick search on Google revealed a version of Road America for GP3 :-
http://home.wanadoo.nl/marc.aarts/tracks/#elkhartlake  Producer: Marc Aarts
(original authors Roland Ehnstr?m & Martijn Keizer)

The actual track representation doesn't seem too bad, however, the trackside
objects are perhaps a little inaccurate.

One thing I did notice was a mountain "range" on the horizon to the north of
the track.  I was there for last years Motorola 220 and don't seem to recall
seeing any mountains.  Is this just my fading memory or too much Miller.
Perhaps the on track action was too exciting for me to notice most of the
scenery.  Can anyone confirm if there is a view to mountains at Elkhart
Lake.

Anyway thanks to the 3 guys for giving me the opportunity to "drive" this
great American road course.

Cheers

What about Dundee Mountain? I "climbed" that bad-boy many times as a
kid. Granted, you can't see it from Road America...but I do believe it
is the highest point in Sheboygan County. (Dundee "Mountain" rises an
astounding 100-150 feet above the surrounding land, and I climbed it
without supplemental oxygen!)

Thanks for confirming the lack of mountain range at Elkhart.  I was fairly
certain I would have noticed them but, you can never be too sure!
