I made a little calculation and the Soundtrack only has 74minutes of music,
that's 1hour and 14minutes.  So Sony has screwed us with only 1 CD, and an
incomplete soundtrack. Hopefully there will be an additional CD in stores
after, similar to the second Titanic CD who had all the rest of the music.

I rounded the time of the pieces, so it's  74minutes  +/-  1-2.

Still not enough :(

I have both r.a.s. and the Star Wars newsgroup one below the other so I just
mis-clicked my newsgroup to send this.  And yes they Sony Music screwed the
Phantom Menace soundtrack :)

To make up for it you have to post something about GPL or NROS to the
Star Wars newsgroup :)

Hehehe well for those who don't know.. Sony Music got the contract for
producing the Musical Score by John Williams for Star Wars : Episode 1 - The
Phantom Menace  (most anticipated movie ever).  The full score is more than
two hours long, and as you see the CD will only include 1hour and 15minutes.
I guess it's a marketing coup as they did for Titanic, since you only print
1 CD, and it sells more.

We got screwed with the original trilogy for the musical scores, since we
had to wait until 1997 and the Special Editions to FINALLY hear the full
score for every movie.

So yes, it's everything or nothing IMHO "Respect my authoritaaaaaaah" ;-)

Naw I have a Emerson,Lake&Palmer CD that has over 90minutes of music on the
CD.

We all know that John William's musical scores for the Special Editions (the
real versions) are all on two CD's.  They are always more than 2hours long
in length.  But Sony didn't had the guts to produce a 2 CD  The Phantom
Menace musical score, because they are only there for the money.  Music is
not a business but a form of art <g>.
