Hi all,
Has anyone looked in the Papyrus Home Page recently ?

Sierra really have screwed that up.   I spent about 20mins wandering
aimlesly from link to link trying to find *ANYTHING* on a Papyrus game
with no success.  Has anyone else had the same trouble ?

BTW, I eventually found their 800 number in an old r.a.s. post and
called.   They have the Indy expansion pack in-stock again only
$19.95+shipping.

The number is 1-800-836-1829 if you can't find the expansion pack at
your local retailer.

I think we should e-mail the webmaster and tell him (her?) our
opinions of what they have done to the Papyrus (Sierra) home page.

BTW, when I mentioned the problems I was having with Web page to the
salesperson all he said was "tell me about it".   Is this the beginning
of the end of Papyrus - I hope not, I'm still waiting for the ICR2 bug
fix patch.

I had the same problem trying to find any Papyrus info at the site. I
finally found it after clicking on the "guests" graphic at the top of
the page. This took me to a page with something about Papyrus joining
up with Sierra, and from there to the origional Papyrus site. The new
URL is http://www.papy.com/sierra/papy/home.htm. Hopefully Sierra will
make it a little easier to reach the site in the future.

At the top of the web page it says something to the effect of "Papyrus
is now at sierra" or something like that. If you pay attention you will
notice that in this line Papyrus is a link. If you hit that link you
will be at the same Papyrus web page that you've seen since they came
on-line.

I tried to get to the Papyrus Home Page and got the Sierra page too. However,
here is the link to the Papyrus Home Page:

        http://www.papy.com/sierra/papy/home.htm

Nothing has changed (except the url).

HELLO!!?!?  What is all this talk about Sierra and Papyrus being in
cahoots!?  When did this happen!?  This is horrible news!!  Were they
responsible for Papyrus's logo change?
Well, it's all downhill from here on out for Papyrus.  Soon we'll have
racing games with environmental objectives.
I haven't stopped by Papyrus's homepage in a while, maybe I'll give it
a try today.  Just please tell me it isn't so?

the url has changed the www.papy.com goes to Sierra but if you enter
http://papy.com  (without the www) then the Papyrus home page comes up.

pages for nascar racing/icr2!

The tech files are now GONE from papyrus' area on compuserve!

HEY SIERRA!..I know you're still in the take over stages of
papyrus/sublogic..but what gives???

Yes, I read your post and then directed my Netscape to the traditional Papyrus
home page URL... And what a shock it was to find myself in Sierras WWW-page.
After the initial shock I tried to find some Papyrus info but no way Jose,
it seems to be nowhere!

Of course I mailed the webmaster and asked kindly if this horrible situation
could be rectified.

Been there! Done that!

Just go through poking around today and this looks to be the direct URL
to Papy's old Web pages:

http://www.sierra.com/sierra/papy/

They seem to have pulled everything over from the old site.  However,
Sierra's server is way slow.  Too many products/companies hiding under
the Sierra On-Line umbrella?
