Q: How to "branch" a loft...

by briGu » Mon, 05 Nov 2001 08:31:13

A long time ago in an "Inside 3D Studio" book, I saw an example of lofting a
fork, so that the two tines at the end were created.  I need to create a
flow of liquid which is created by several streams coming from their own
sources.  I was planning on using the loft function to do this, but if I
attach the individual spout shapes together, they are no longer a valid
shape for lofting.

Does anyone have an idea for accomplishing this?  Thanks a million - I'm on
a pretty tight deadline...

Generally I find that when lofting a fork it only creates a stream of
liquid if it hits somebody, or perhaps a milk carton or something.

"Lofting a fork"? You meant to post to alt.dining.etiquette?
