I've started to notice a stuttering in RC2000 whenever I have mip-
mapping enabled. And of course, once you notice something like that,
it will drive you nuts :(! I've got a V5 on a PIII 866 system, latest
V5 beta drivers. I originally thought I was having a memory problem,
tried diabling replays, etc, but I isolated it absolutely to mip-
mapping.
Of course, once it's disabled the textures in the distance look like
crap. I'd like to run 2xFSAA, 800x600x16. 4x doesn't really help, and
slows the framerate too much. 1024x768x16 2x is too slow (for me) as
well.
Any trick I'm missing? I've tried playing with the detail bias
settings, but that hasn't helped.
