machine (PII 400, Monster 3D II), and it pleased me very much. However, when
I installed it at my home machine (PII 266, Monster 3D II), where it is
supposed to be when I purchase it, the game simply does not run; after the
narrator speech ends, the game goes the Land of the Lost Bytes. The machine
does not crash; only the display is obscured by the game screen (before the
racing actually begins).
I notice that at home, where the primary display is a Sierra Screamin' 3D
Rendition 1000 board, the game video set-up does not shows it, only 'Glide'
for the Monster board. I've e-mailed them, but no answer so far. I think
there should be something wrong in the registry preventing the game from
switching boards. Any hints? No other racing game (got over 40 of them)
installed in the same machine has any problem (Oh, GPL demo is lame too.)
