No true i'm afraid. I'm still using 1.3 (I prefer it), and N2 now works fine. You need to check the
advanced settings on your CMOS (you know... 'del' key on boot-up) and make sure that PCI-Streaming,
PCI-Bursting, and PCI-Concurrency are all enabled. If your motherboard does not have those features
I would look into the utility that is available to enable them.
"This program "tweak" really does improve DMA for those like myself that do not have any PCI
Latency Timer and/or PCI Streaming functions in their system Bios. The setting you want to be most
concerned with is the {PCI Streaming} . When you run tweak, your current system settings (also the
hidden ones not in your bios) will display their present readings. Observe the reading under {PCI
Streaming}. If it reads "disabled", change it to "enabled". Choose Apply Settings and
exit. Now run DMATEST."
