N4 - TV Out Questions

Hi R.A.S.

I want to run N4 through a AGP vid card w/TV out to a 54" Sony XBR.

Has anyone done this successfully?

Currently I have no video out in the current card so a new card will be
required.  I have a feeling that I am going to get suggestions on what card
to purchase.  Therefore,  I offer a few thoughts about a new card.

1.  Must be Inexpensive!
2. Must be inexpensive!
3. Does not have to be Fastest card on the market, ( That would be great if
it fell under criteria 1 & 2 above though wouldn't it?)

The system it is going into is a Pentium III 650, ASUS P2B99 mobo, Aureal
Vortex SC, 128 MB RAM

I am curious to hear if this has successfully done.

All Asus cards do well (using SVHS) on TV sets... I had the V6600 Deluxe and
now the V7700 Deluxe combo and games/desktop look great on my Wega... still
a rather fire up games on my 17"Monitor than on the TV..
DVD is an another issue though...

I do it all the time with Voodo 3 - 3000's to  Sony 27" TV's.

It works great other than being much lower resolution than
a monitor.

Thanks for the advice.

I got a Powercolor M64 32MB with a Nvidia TNT2 chipset. This card was cheap!
I know that it is not the fastest card out there but price was key for this
system.
In my own system I have the ASUS 6800 deluxe version and it works great.

I get the Powercolor card tomorrow.  I will let you know about frame rates
and stuff.
