Vastly better controller support and FFB.  7.0a was meant for people who use
game controllers.

I just did last week when I got my Logitech FF wheel and had no trouble
related to it yet.  Gee, a few days with no trouble after installing
something from microsoft.  Yes, I have turned the computer on and used it a
couple times.  I didn't use the FF with Dx6 so I can't comment on its
"Upgraded" performance.

You should always use the latest drivers, DX, etc.  People have problems
when they have one or more (usually no-name) components that don't have
up-to-date or DX-compatible drivers.  I have immediately upgraded my DX
since version 3 and have had absolutely no problems.  But the problems other
have are REAL!  You decide.
