What do you think the Top 3 wheels are in terms of performance.
Don't worry about price/FF/etc...
Simply by quality and actual performance, what are the top 3 wheels on the
market?

Well, no force feedback on the ECCI as great as it is. As for steering
wheels for GPL in particular I would say this:
1.LWFF (with pedals other than the original);
2.MSFF
3.TSW

My view anyway.

IMHO the *best* wheels, if we are talking about pure quality, must be
the ECCI wheels?
See the url for more details....

One of the best (though not * the* best) must be the F1 Sim (previously
called the GP500 and now called something else? but the new name escapes
me!)

Check out the Ballracing website to see the new wheel....

I'd say the TSW wheels are pretty good too.

So: 1) ECCI  2) F1 Sim  3) TSW

8-)

My old T2 lasted me 3 years, all I had to do was change like 5 springs, 1
pot on the steering wheel and the bungee cord. The only reason I threw it
out was because of a bad pot on the pedals, I didn't know how to fix it....

It is hard to vote for the 3 best wheels with any authority unless you are a
reviewer or have a lot of spare cash. I have owned 3 wheels in my years of
sim racing  and before that I was using a joystick or a keyboard. I like the
Advantage 1 because I own one. I also happen to build them but I was an
advocate of the wheel long before that !! I have read about many other
wheels and listened to people and their impressions. It seems that sim
racers fall into many different categories. The hit and giggle will go for
something a little cheaper perhaps while the gamer will probably look at the
FF Wheels. It is the enthusiast that will seek out the wheel that possibly
costs a little more but will improve their times and the whole driving
experience !!!!

For me .... Force Feedback is a bit of a gimmick. I have driven my car and
purposely driven over bumps in an attempt to get 'feedback' through the
wheel. It isn't that simple. And a racing car with its stiffer suspension
would be different again. So for that reason, I wouldn't put FF Wheels into
my top three at all (my opinion only).

1. Advantage 1
2. HyperStimulator
3. ECCI
