Hi all,

I probably won't get a response on this, but here goes:

In GP2 it looks like Larousse were sponsored by a cigarette company. Can
anyone remember who? It looks like it could be Marlboro but I can't be
sure.

Thanks in advance

Tourtel Larousse is what you're looking for.

Larrousse's main (title) sponsor in 94 was Tourtel. They're a beverage
compapny, with Tourtel being a non-***ic malt drink. Larrousse also
ran a few races in a red/white scheme (vs. the green/blue/yellow Tourtel)
being the colors of Kronenbourg, a brand of beer also from Tourtel.

Other sponsors included Eurosport (Europoean cable/satelite sports
channel), Gauloises Blondes (French cigarettes?), Zanussi (?), and a few
smaller companies.

Probably won't? ;)

At the European GP, they carried associated sponsorship from Gauloises,
but for most of the season, I don't believe they had any tobacco money.

The primary sponsorship, on the other hand, alternated between Tourtel
and Kronenbourg.  The Larrousses depicted in GP2 mimic the paint job
for the former.
