Found my crashing problem

by Stan Mars » Fri, 20 Apr 2001 19:56:03

Im using windows 2000, liveware 3, TNT 2 (6.18) LWFF (3.65) and DX8.  GPL
was crashing after a short amount of play.  I believed it was the sound
card, but I tried without my LWFF and it worked fine.  I renamed my core.ini
and used the wheel, and the game worked fine besides no FF.  Does anyone see
a problem with my core.ini?
Before this I tried reinstalling, 1.2 patch, d3d patch and registry editing
. . . .  AFAIK the file is standard - besides the wheel info.
Thanks all
Pete

if that is your .ini file then you do have a problem.
You have [joy] and [hack] parameters listed TWICE!!
Erase the last part of that .ini file and see if that fixes it.
