Anybody heard any news on this sim?

Not Much. Seems like some distributor has picked it up, but I don't think
anyone's heard anything "offical" yet. Someone said Ubisoft, the same people
who made Pod, are releasing it but I looked at the preview screen shots on
some game review web page any they weren't the same.

I know those French dudes at Visiware see this newsgroup. So how about it
guys? Even if you can't announce your publisher, how about an update? There's
been two *lacking* F1 sims out since GP2, and I've seen those screen shots,
and talk about realism and the different modes of gameplay - this looks like a
real winner here! Give us some info to help us resist the temptation of other
F1 sims :)

It's a  page that has some screen shots not the visiware page, and some stuff
from Visiware about the games features and such.

I received news this week from Canal+ saying that the launch date has
been reported to september 97...  And when we told this to the guys at
Visiware, they said they "didn't know but if that is what they said,
then it must be true".  I can't believe we're still gonna have to wait
that long for a sim that should've been out by feb 97 (see Canal+'s
homepage)...
