This was the first I have read that we'd only get 5 minutes to get in.
During all the other sessions you'd have a normal practice session and then
you'd have locked qualifying. I guess you are already into qualifying
because I can't get in. Probably only missed getting in by a minute or so
too. I just don't think 5 minutes was enough time for everyone to get in,
especially with just finding out about it.

Eldred I practiced 3 days for this race, joined the server as soon as it
came up, had a minor problem that I had to sort out and tried to rejoin 2
minutes later, to find we were locked out of qualifying...we need at least
10 minutes to join the race please!

I was the first one to join when the server came up but when the game
launched it didn't go to the track but sat in the lobby (gamespy whatever)
showing no games.
I exited the game. F1RST2 came back up I quit the room and reentered. From
then on all attempts at connecting led to a hang at the "please wait
connecting to server." message.
Ah well.
