SCGT - Anyone know how to make a good start?

Hi,

Whatever car/setup I use, I just can't seem to get a good start.
Anyone got any suggestions? I'd be very grateful!

Thanks.

This works for me:

hold the revs right at redline, and time the green start light with
dumping it into first gear right when the green start light
illuminates.  A little practice, and after a few starts, you will be
door handle to door handle with the AI cars at the first turn.

Well, I normally run my C12 Corvette (which has all upgrades on) and just mash
the pedal when the light goes green.  That way, I don't get as much wheel spin
from having high revs and am usually ahead by the 1st turn.

I usually put it in gear w/ the revs between 2 and 3k rpm

God bless,
