http://www.racesimcentral.net/ is an official mirror for the ProjectWildFire
stuff, click on logo on left to get the files.

THIS IS FOR PATCHED 2003 ONLY!!!

This system will easily allow us to display BGN and Cup races on the same
screen. We can show IP and Sierra just as easy. You can join any race
directly from this client - regardless if its IP, Sierra, BGN or Cup.

http://www.racesimcentral.net/

SERVER OWNERS - to get your IP server to show up in the race list modify
core.ini as follows. We use the port of 46998 for IP races and 46999 for
Sierra races. Please just use N.02 versions

CORE.INI
[CLIENT]
to_ip=                                   ; Connect to IP address
to_sierra=1                              ; Connect client to sierra.com?
via_ip=                                  ; Connect via IP address

[Communications]
alternate_ip_addr_lookup=1               ; Find IP addresses another way
bcast_listserv=209.242.93.11             ; IP address of race list server
bcast_listserv_port=46998                ; list server port (0 = default)
bcast_listserv_req_freq=0.000000         ; Request race list frequency
bcast_ping_disable=0                     ; Disable response to pings
bcast_send_disable=0                     ; Disable sending broadcasts
bcast_send_freq=30.000000                ; Broadcast frequency (seconds)

CLIENTS... If you are using a router you must forward ports 47000-47004 to
your race computer.

This doesn't require any software on the server side. When you join a race
the client is automatically shutdown.

This isn't a binary group.
If you want to post images or files please use alt.binaries.simulators.autos
or upload them to a website and post a link here.
Thanks :)

That was sad. The guys just trying to show you something that will be
usefull after the patch.
We all know the binary group is a bunch of ***so this is the best place
for him to post.

Rid the Binaries group of those IDIOTS that post that STUPID auto
software and maybe we would read it. Geeez... give this guy a break.
Don't pay him any attention Shane, I appreciate the info. Thank you

The problem is that many ISP's, including mine, simply delete binary
posts to non binary NG's, so posting it here meant that I simply didn't
see it, had he posted it to a web page and just posted a link here, I
would have known what it's all about instead of being in the dark

There are accepted methods of showing things to people. Just because it is
something many here would like to see, does not make it ok for it to be
posted here.

If he carries on posting binaries here:
(A) he is liable to be reported to his ISP for usenet abuse so he could lose
his ability to post anything.
(B) Various ISPs may drop the group so less people will be able to see
anything.
(C) People on dialup are gonna get pissed off and killfile him so they will
not see any of his posts.

I was being polite, there are reasons why binaries shouldn't be posted to
this group. If you're too stupid to understand that.....   I give up.
