I guess it's just a different marketing staff. They may do "games", but the
target people they are aiming their titles is not always the same. They
also don't have the same % of money going into the publicity. Think that
the money that goes into the commercials and sponsoring doesn't go into the
software development. Don't be surprised that most of the EA Sport software
are bad ;-)
Still, I know that Papyrus sponsored a Atlantic Formula back in 1996, at
the Montreal Formula 1 GP weekend. It was a nice (I think) black and dark
blue car with "Papyrus" on it. I was probably the only one in the island
who knew who they were ;) . Anybody at Papyrus has information about that
sponsorship, who the driver was and if it was only for a 1 race deal ?
