Do you know if you can still use the 10 Cashback offer from
Micrisoft on this (even though it is already a good price) ?

That is staggering - my local PC world wants 150 for these.

Is it worth it?  Is this your first steering wheel? How many of the
decent driving games benefit?

Not being a PC World visitor I missed the 10 cashback offer, now I'm
informed
Ill be popping down there to get the 10 refund voucher.Which makes this
price
even better. :)

Yes its my first wheel, I chose the MS wheel as although the Act Labs has
received
rave reviews youve got all the hassle of shipping from US etc. As far i was
concerned this price was too good to miss for a FF wheel.

After a short evenings playing I can surely say playing a racing game with a
wheel
makes everything so natural, you can hold a line through a bend perfectly,
rather
than trying to hold the joystick in one position, you can control the
acceleration and
brake naturally. Any game which involves driving I'd say will benefit from
being
controlled with a wheel instead of a stick.

If your a racing games player and been contemplating a wheel, I'd certainly
reccomend
getting one, whatever the flavour you prefer.

You don't need to suffer and go in there.

It's an offer direct from  MS & you don't need a printed voucher.
There's a form you can print on the MS site. Go to
http://www.microsoft.com/UK/homepc/cashback/default.htm

Purchases must be made by end of May, vouchers must be posted by end
of June.
