Well, I'm thankful for the patch in that I can now reach the "Load"
button...........but, I still have no force feedback at all. Any of
you guys get this to work on your machines? I've got an MS Sidewinder
Pro Force Feedback , and I reinstalled the software that came with it
as well as installing the new patch but no luck....am i doing
something wrong?
/m

FF must be enabled in the joystick options tab.

For the benefit of the rest of us maybe you'd care to enlighten us?

Ive got the MS ffb and f1rs...what can I say but the forcefeedback
is ever-so-slightly minimal.  Occasionally get the odd wiggle.
Rumble strips sometimes rumble, and grass might give a little left and
right, but thats it... nothing like Ultimate Race...Mind you, I did once
get
a knock from driving into a wall flat out in f1rs (research purposes,
obviously...)
which most driving games ignore.   Strange that, I thought you would
normally notice such an occurance if you were in the car...

I've got the performance update for the joystick
installed, if you were wondering, and its running on a p200mmx, 3dfx,
96mg, etc.

Come on ubisoft, give us the option for mental ffb...

MDK is good! GPolice is also good. There are some pretty goods effects
around, but I agree things will improve a lot in the next few months.

GPolice and MDK are very good...as is that FPS skiing game.
If you've played the demo of Gpolice and where un-amazed by the FFB, try
the real game - I found it about 2 billion times better.  Makes it very
good.
