Viper multiplayer cannot connect with serial cable

Hi there,

I have been unable to get the multiplayer option in Viper Racing to work -
response is "Connection established", then "Line is not so good" and then
"Line cannot be used".  I have used the same serial cable/COM port/COM port
settings with Grand Prix Legends without any problems.

Does anyone have any advice?
