Thought you guys might be interested.  Car & Driver magazine reviewed PC
steering wheels / pedals in the December issue.  Me, I tried a GP1 twice, gave
up, and went back to my CH joystick.  So, I probably am not the best to
comment on their expertise.  Here's how they finished:

1. TSW Formula,  92 pts ($725)
2. CH EXL500,  88  ($60)
2. Extreme Compretition CDS4000,  88 ($995)
4. Virtual Vehicle VV.JD,  84 ($1295)
5. Mad Catz,  83 ($60)
6. TM NASCAR Pro, 79  ($180) (lost favor due to its pedals)
7. SC&T Ultimate Per4mer, 73 ($100)
8. Interact V3, 70   ($59) (I agree with their comments as I tried the PSX
version for playing Gran Turismo).

Oh, they used Nascar2 on a P2-400 for testing, Sears Point.  They limited the
laps to two, which probably isn't fair to the different controllers.  Yes,
price was one of the criteria.

It's funny that they didn't like the TMPro pedals, but ranked the exl500
second. Have you seen these pedals? I wouldn't even call them that.

Just a note, that TM has new pedal designs for the NASCAR Pro, they are
place very similar to the NASCAR Super Sport.  The new pedal design
should move it the list.  The new pedals with the Super Sport are a
delight.  Great control over throttle and braking.
