GPL:real problem :-)

Well, now that I finally got GPL it seems that I
got myself a really difficult problem....
Every time I'm on this group reading about some new
interesting idea on equpipment , on GPL or on
some other sim I feel bad because I know that
in that moment I could just as well  be out on
the track in Monaco or on the Ring to experience
the knot in the stomach that comes from too high speed,
the roar of the engines ,the response of the car,
and gaining more driving experience....

but every time I'm out on the
track I have my head full of interesting stuff regarding GPL
that I want to check on  if somebody has written about here,
or has had any  experience with......;-).....

and I haven't even started online racing yet.....

I have the solution to your problem !!!!

Buy a 2nd computer which will be online all the time, connected to this NG
and you cant play with the 1st one at the same time...

Or you could get a second PCI video card and plug in a second monitor if you
have Win98.  Not sure if this works with GPL, but Win98 does support
multiple monitors.  Probably not safe to drive and read the news at the same
time though ;)

It doesn't work when GPL is set up to run on the secondary display.
It gets very confused about where the mouse pointer is.
