Should I still buy a T2, or wait???

Would anyone suggest that I still buy the T2, or wait for another
cheap, good wheel?? I am considering this because my Virtual Pilot Pro
is screwed up and CH Products won't answer my e-mail, so I'm screwed
there.. I know Thrustmaster is coming out with a new wheel, is it gonna
be much better and/or expensive than the T2?? I would probably still use
my CH Pedals for pedals, as they are the best I've ever used (I don't
like the T2 pedals) I don't have the kind of money to buy something like
the TSW or anything, and I'm not electronically inclined to build my
own (Wally's page is *VERY* confusing to me)... Thanks for any input!

I use my T2 on a daily basis-especially since you can use the pedals in
other games for various things. I thought it was an excellent investment
for ***-and Thrustmasters customer support is the icing on the cake!

You should take a look at my steering wheel page!
It is at http://www.worldonline.nl/~flucas/index.html
(the index that is ;)

Maybe you could hook the GP1 wheel to your CH Pedals...

After reading the abuse some have suffered while asking how to run
NASCAR under Windows 95, I almost hesitate to ask this question.  I run
NT, and have setup a PIF file to run NASCAR in a DOS window, however I
constantly get the error message that there is not enough low memory
available.  If I boot up off a floppy and run the program from my
optical disk, everything works fine.  Has anyone had any experience with
this?  Any hints much appreciated.

I run NT also and would love to be able to run without rebooting.

You can't. WindowsNT will not allow direct access to any hardware
by any programs. This mostly effects DOS-based games, however Windows95
games shouldn't have too much trouble with NT 4.0, if I'm not mistaken.
NT was built more for security than ability to play games. You'll
probably see better performance playing from DOS anyway, even if NT
allowed you to play in a window.

I use system commander which allows me to boot into multiple OS's.  It
is almost like the NT boot manager.  It allows me to boot into DOS
(clean), DOS (net), DOS (Game) , NT, and Win95.  Yes it does still
take a reboot.  But you gota pay if you wanta play.
