ADC Euro & Oz Divisions Are Recruiting

by David Fletch » Sat, 14 Dec 2002 06:15:46

The Average Drivers Club is looking for drivers for it's Euro and
Australian Divisions.

The ADC has been going through a growth spurt, to the point where the
North American Division is getting anywhere from 15-20 drivers per
event. The Euro is getting 4-7, and the Australian a little more. I'd
like to get the Euro and Oz divisions built up a bit.

What is the Average Drivers Club? The Average Drivers Club was created
as an alternative to random pick-up races at VROC. The ADC is designed
to bring a little more structure and consistency to our member's
on-line racing experience. The ADC is a club, not a league. There are
no championship standings but we will post race winners in the
Speedgeezers forums so everyone can have bragging rights at some point
or another. All racers are expected to drive in a gentlemanly,
courteous manner; not a win-at-all-costs mentality. All races are run
at VROC from a dedicated, password-protected server. The primary
emphasis is on fun. It's been described as being like a bunch of
friends getting together and renting a Circuit for the day.

We have a large track list which has been chosen to include a variety
of challenging and fun tracks. We run all 11 Papy originals, and 22
addon venues. This list will be updated from time to time due to the
vast number of add-on tracks available.

The Euro division runs on Wednesdays, at 18:30 GMT. The Australia
division runs Sunday evenings at 09:30 GMT (7:30 pm Melbourne). Plus
once a month on a Saturday, all three Divisions get together for a
race at 21:00 GMT.

If you're interested, check out our Portal at www.speedgeezers.com, or
look for our page at GPL Rank.
