Are you sure that this isn't the Microprose Grand Prix Manager game?

A friend of mine was in Paris yesterday. He told me that he has seen GP2
in a shop (Place Voltaire). He had no money enough to purchase one
(AAAAARGH !!!) and it seems not possible to find it yet in my town (Rouen)
due to people on strike (freighters). I have to check this information,
but usually this friend says the truth !
It's 5 pm in France now, and I'm going to visit the shops of my town to
ask if this information is reliable.
I'll post another article in this NG when I'll know more (maybe tonight or
tomorrow).

I hope this is not bullshit !

A shopkeeper confirmed me that he was expecting the game next week. It
seems possible. They didn't want to loose the profits of the sales of the
Xmas period, I suppose.

Still in doubt, anyway.

Here in Finland the software retailers have been advertising on F1GP 2
for a long time. They always tell you the "next week"-story, if you ask
about it...

Arhghhhh Why is everybody always believing those f*cking shopkeepers?
They only want to SELL a hot product, thats's all. You can order GP2
ANYTIME, but it will be released next year! Period!

Now go playing Formula One grand Prix !

Ooooops... Sorry !
I think I made a big mistake. I'll check out better my informations next
time. I apologize !

Now, I'm going to purchase GP manager immediately, as a self punishment !

Hi,

GRAND PRIX MANAGER was released in the UK/Europe last week, not
GRAND PRIX 2. GRAND PRIX 2 is now on the schedule for a early
1996 release, probably in the FEB-MAR timeframe.

Right now, they're selling it in Belgium. This evening (14/12/95) i read
in a Belgian magasine that a dealer in Geel (small city in Belgium) sells
them. The price was not told but a picture of the cover was with it.
I'm gonna call him first thing in the morning.
