Hi guys,

First of all I don't work for Car and Driver so please don't flame me
for the spam.

I have been a Car and Driver subscriber for years, and only today did it
dawn on me (ok I'm a little slow) that some of you in this newsgroup
might love to have extremely accurate Die-Casts of the late 60's Grand
Prix cars. I am pretty sure that the Ferrari's, Lotus's and one more are
represented.
If this has been posted already, I apologize for the wasted bandwidth...

Hi, some of the guys I work with are diecast nuts, and though I don't get
it, they love it, go to shows, spend hundreds of dollars on this stuff, and
one day I was flipping thru a catalog which had many antique/vintage cars
for sale, and there it was, a '67 Lotus 49, and it was beautiful, and I
thought, hey that would look cool sitting on top of my monitor while I
played GPL....and it would have, if I felt like spending $135 on a toy
car.....No thanks, Ed
