All of us old-school guys, digging out the past and flaming others over
them.

So, when are we going to have a pro/anti-papy thread?

Just after the "racing legends will never happen" thread, but BEFORE the "EA
Netcode is a disgrace" thread

First thread has to be a "GPL is the Best" thread

...or "EA's track are crap!" and "Where's the F1RC patch, Ubisoft?", and
let's never forget the "West bros. are lying to the community, the cat is
alive!"

;)

Hiya Mark, how's it going over there ? :)
I remember a certain "Ronnie Bigwhip" or what-ever the Jerk's name was,
calling me a clueless ***er because i had the nerve to say on RAS that
GPAL would never see the light of day.
Of course how could an Ozzie with an Irish background take that lying
down.. ?
Needless to say, a reasonably luke-warm flame war ensued from that.. :))
That was the last decent flame war i was actually involved in on RAS, so i
guess it's about time i came out of the closet and started making as much
noise for the arguments against having RASCAR here as others have made for
having it here. <G>
I like Ken's poll idea, but that will never happen as they roundy roundy
boys might find they are not a majority after-all :)  Jk...   <G>

Cheers,
Ron

It's going to the Canary Islands for two weeks on thursday, so pretty good
thanks, Ron.
Always good to see ya in passing though buddy :-)

Well, actually, Ron, you are a  bit clueless.

GPAL is going to be released any day now and will be competing for our
attention with a certain creation by the West brothers. You really need to
learn to have a little more faith ;-)

Ah, the flame war. Always the high point of any year. Trouble is, all the
reasonably good competition has either grown up or faded away. Flame wars
ain't what they used to be in here. Probably why I hardly post anymore lol.

I'm staying strictly neutral on this one, especially as the worst is now
<hopefully> over. An opinionated Irishman's opinions like mine at this stage
might be very explosive, especially with the opinions I hold;-) Add a Paddy
/ Bruce crossbreed's musings to the equation and the fallout may well be
raining down for years <G>.

Actually, last night's race was a pretty amiable affair so hopefully the
signal to noise ratio will begin to dampen down.

Cheers mate.
