NASCAR 2 IS CRASHING AFTER DX5

I  have a crashing problem after installing dx 5 . It plays fine in dos but
i need it to work like it did before in win 95  for multiplayer . PLEASE
HELP !!!!!!!!!!!! IM GETTIN MAD :)  it freezes on the track after 1 lap
