rFactor. Can someone describe or post a link to a description of how
this works?

I think that's a setting in some form of ini file (multiplayer.ini?) how
rF handles mismatches (boot immediately, exclude from race and so on).
I'm not home right now so I cannot check, but I don't think it's
possible to disable them entirely.
Cheers, uwe

I'm using a special version of rFactor licensed from ISI and
customized for a corporate customer of mine. I have two copies of the
software running on two computers that are networked together. This
custom software lets the driver pick between two track options. The
software currently does not detect online mismatches which allows
people two load different tracks and the machines still sync up. The
result is cars from one track on one computer floating in the air on
the other computer, and vice versa.
So, I need to enable online mismatches. It's probably in a config
file but I've never checked for it, and need some guidance.

Report Mismatches="3" // server should report mismatches for:
0=physics/GDB/RFM only, 1=physics/GDB/RFM/EXE, 2=physics/GDB/RFM/track
geometry, 3=everything
Mismatch Response="1" // how the server responds to mismatches: 0=does
nothing, 1=kicks the mismatched client at the beginning of the Race
session, 2=kicks client immediately, 3=kicks client from Qualifying or
Race
You can set your values to best suit your needs.

Thanks Darryl. I was able to change the config to kick a driver
immediately on a mismatch. This will work a lot better.
What's HTH?
