I went to all the shops here in Eindhoven (The Netherlands).

got mine in France today.

Sound is as bad as in the demo, gfx are nicer, speed is fantastic, 3 axis
works FF works with my act labs wheel

All we need is a sound patch.

No cd from gcw works on my french copy, turned thr game in english but who
cares ?

Much faster, smoother, noicer than GP3, control is quite okay, not GPL but
not bad at all, and the tracks are SOOO beautiful...

I picked up a copy today, I'd agree with all you said, but there is one
glaring problem, the I is completely missing from the AI :(
It's more like demolition derby than F1, which is a real shame as the game
is otherwise very good.

It's true that they don't like it very much when you brake late and come on
their inside, they have a tendency not to see you....but I found out if
before trying my move I "show" myself a lot in their mirrors (you know the
"left and right" indimidation) then they are more aware...

It's far worse than that. If I'm in front they slam the brakes on 50 metres
early and I hit them from behind, if I'm behind they brake 50 metres later,
if I'm at the side they immediately try to sideswipe me. Exiting a corner,
the AI will get on the gas, then when I get on the gas as well, they back
right off and I slam into them ! ;)
In a race at Brazil, going into T1 I had a car in front, one at the side and
one behind, every single one of them hit me.
The AI in my copy must have a vendetta against me !!
Can I borrow your AI drivers ?
 :)

Seriously, I hope they patch the AI as it's now my favourite modern F1 sim.

Wanna try something funny? Ok, drive a lap or 10 on Spa in F1RC, and
immediately after that do the same in GP3.
I did this this morning, and after that I promptly deinstalled GP3. :)
It's frustrating though: I love the weather in GP3, and the AI is
quite good too. When-o-when will we get a F1 sim that has all the good
features from f1rc, gp3 and f1cs in one??
