I just can't make proper times in the snow with CMR.
Any driving-tips?

Drive slow. Staying on the track is the most important in the snow
stages. I even find the snow tracks easier than the other stages.

It's very different from driving on gravel and completely different from
driving on tarmac. Actually I found the best results to come by taking the
curves with a fairly aggressive sideways turn well before the corner so
that the car was almost sideways when entering the corner. This allows you
to correct over-sliding with the throttle and then make a quick getaway
when the grip regains. Also avoid banks like the plague.

You need to think ahead and set the car up for the corner VERY early...much,
much earlier than for any other rally stages.  Get it sideways very early
with a twist of the wheel and a brief lift of the throttle (maybe even a dab
on the brakes) at the same time.  It's all in the timing because you need to
do that early enough so that you scrub off your forward speed just as you
arrive at the corner...you should also then be pointing in the right
direction to power out of it.

What tires are you using? I used to pick the spikes, because it seemed
the obvious choice for snow, but now I usually pick the wet mud tires
(or what ever comes before the spikes) and only use the spikes on the
ice stages.

And besides that, as others have mentioned, set the car up early for the
corner and drift through it.

I agree, Spikes on all the stages in Sweden and Wet Grooves on all other
snow stages.

The important point on slippery surfaces is to set up the car well in
advance for the corners, slide sideways into the curve and then hit the
throttle when you can see the exit and accelerate out of the curve.
