I have a 68 GTO with 400 HO it has header and was wondering what kind of
advange it would be to put a cross over pipe behind the collectors?

It depends. Are you using a T2 or a joystick... But then again I read
somewhere that crossover pipes are illegal in ICR2.
Wrong N.G. but yes, the crossover pipe will improve low-end torque.
Actually, the cross over pipes are illegal in ICR 1. Its the nitro, thats
illegal in ICR2. Try the crossover pipes in N2, I've noticed a big gain in my
lap times. <BG>
You'd see a slight improvment in torque, but that 400 you've got is already
all torque... Try a Holley Pro-Jection. My buddy put a 670 2 barrel on of
those on his 68' 400 (in his 80' trans am) and Holy schmolly. Good luck.
Only if you use a TSW wheel.

I say forget the cross pipe. Add an onboard laptop with a new active matrix
display and just load N2. I think you'll find the N2 cars have more torque
and horsepower than you'll get from the crossover pipe.
Or, just forget that stuff and add a turbo instead.
Is a crossover pipe anything like a bong?

>If it gets you a better frame rate, I say go for it!
