Triple Crown Championship Postponed

Hi,
I am Bill Wells, President of MIRacing.  A few weeks ago a bright young
kid, named Christopher Sampang, had a great idea, he said, "The triple
crown came about when I was watching RPM2Night, I saw how they were
mentioning the ol' Ontario Motor Speedway, and also how Al Unser Sr. won
the real Triple Crown races (original set:  Ontario, Pocono, Indy) in
1978.  I also remembered how Mario won them (not at the same time
however), albeit Michigan not Ontario as Ontario had been demolished.  So
that's where I got the idea for the most prestigious ICR2 Internet league.
(put picture of Al Unser Sr. win at Indy)  (Put picture of Mario Andretti
winning at Pocono)"

It was Chris' dream to rebuild this peice of History on the Internet.
Several of the fastest and best drivers and teams juped right in.
Unfortumately, Chris had no experience running a league and much was not
well thought out.

I was asked to step in, by Chris and by my competition.  In the end Indy
was run, few finished, and many flamed Chris needlessly.  We all make
mistakes most often when we are young, and this 11 year old put his heart
in the right place.

I have agreed t take over the Triple Crown, and to teach Chris what little
I know while doing it.  Right now it is not possible to get the series
straightened out by in time for Michigan.  So I am cancelling this
"Season" of the Triple Crown.

Immediately following the Long Beach race of the World Internet Endurance
Racing Series, I will begin organizing this wonderful concept and once
again announce the start of it.

All interested keep an eye out on our site at:

See you there,

Bill Wells
