Gateway Solo 600x feedback

Well, the wife is being nice and letting me shop for a new notebook.
I noticed the notebooks being auctioned from gateway resellers are
selling for much cheaper than buying new.

I just wanted to get your feedback on the above notebook and if
anybody has any good feedback on them.

Looks like the going rate is around 800 to 1000 bucks on the ones
below.... on ebay I did "Notebook P4" to run my search.

Gateway Solo 600x feedback

Off topic, but who on earth would want to spend $700 for a PDA when you can
get a fully equipped Laptop for this kind of money?

It just shows how horribly overpriced 'high end' PDA's are.

I might get one of these for myself :)

I never could get into those PDA's.  I know my wife told me 1000 was
the limit, but what the hell, better to ask forgiveness than
permission huh? lol.
Got this for 1206.
