Hi guys,

Are there any real "true" to life auto simulators ???? An arcade type
simulator that you step into that is realistic. Comparable to a jet
simulator. If anyone knows let me know.

The most realistic ones I have "driven" are Hard Drivin' and Race Drivin' by
Atari (I think).  You sit in an adjustable seat, there is a clutch pedal and
a stick shift with (in the case of Race Drivin') a reverse !  The most
impressive aspect of these games if that the steering wheel has feedback
in it.  The cars behave quite a bit like a real one (with much better grip
and engine, of course).  The only problem is that the animation is a bit
slow.  An update to these games would be fantastic (does Atari read this
group ???? :-)
