N3 League looking for CLEAN drivers....

by Paul E » Tue, 26 Oct 1999 04:00:00

I am the administrator of the "Western States Racing League", which is a
Nascar 3 racing group aimed primarily at racers in the Pacific and Mountain
time zones.

We are currently looking for a few more racers who understand the vital
importance of good racing etiquette and desire to race with other clean
drivers.

I had been involved with other N3 leagues, but found that they are too
geographically diverse, making for high latency (warping) as well as
creating difficulties in scheduling times for races. This is why I aimed
this league at the western US area.

hosting races with very low warping on WON with 15-20 racers via a Dell
P2-450. I have found that having several dial-in racers in my races usually
doesn't present a warping problem (as some cable hosts claim). If you are
interested in racing CLEAN and respectably, send me an e-mail!

The W.S.R.L. web site is at http://www.racesimcentral.net/

Currently we are hosting league races on Monday and Friday nights. Check the
schedule page for more details.  We are racing "practice" races for about 2
more weeks until the membership roster gets settled.  There are currently 25
drivers in the league.

Season championships will be starting in about 2 weeks.  Mondays and Fridays
races will be in separate championships.

It's not important how fast you are, rather how clean you race. :-)
