to JAMS.

So...all you Artists out there...get at it [please :-)) ],and do us us
some really good cars (or sets).

No!..I'm not lazy...just can't paint worth a dime...so me and many like
me,rely on the artsits amongst us  :-))

Thanks anybody.

It would be nice if someone could bring the whole lot up to date, so i.e
the Saubers are no longer black, but blue, and sponsored by red bull and
the words Peugeot are removed from the back of the Mclaren, and replaced
with the three pointed star.  etc.....

I dont suppose you could change the nose section on the Williams to be
raised? No, ........I thought  not......

Yes, you can eliminate cars you don't need, so you can have 22 cars.

The converter works great. I've already done a 1996 season car
set with graphics to go with my 96 names file. You can't get rid
of the extra cars (Lotus, Simtek et al), but this is not a real
problem as they are not competing at the top ten level. IMO
Coulthard makes a nice Villeneuve imitation and the other 1996
drivers can be swapped around to make a workable set, too. I
prefer running a Simtek myself.

I'm not releasing the car set, as I have no artistic talent at
all. It took me a few hours with Paintshop pro to add the tobacco
sponsors to Williams and McLaren and completely repaint Sauber,
Minardi and Arrows (used Footwork here). Trevor has a -96 Jordan
on his www-page.

Some good car pictures can be found at  autoweb'96

How can you eliminate extra cars?

Hi Julian!

Yes, you can get a "high-nose" for the Williams.  Just use TrevK's
GP2jam Paintkit and convert Williams.bmp file to either Benetton.jam or
Ferrari.jam file (preferrably Benetton for #5 & #6).  I've done it and
it works.  Try it and Good Luck!  Email me back or post a reply as to
how it goes.

Well we're working on it.

Steve (who brought you the F1 carsets for ICR2), Dave (BTCC for
Nascar) and myself started a while ago uodating the set.

I'm hacking around to try and see if I can sort the high/low nose
thing out and I'll be tweaking the cars to make them look as good
as possible.

Jan has a copy of the official 'The Pits' F1 car and should be posting
it to the site (http://www.theuspits.com) if anyone wants to check out
the ammount of effort we're putting into the cars.

We've done most of the front runners - so watch this space!
