ARRRGHHH! Yet another bug!!

Thanks so very much that put forward followups to my posts regarding my
Indycar troubles - they've all been very helpful.

But now I've found yet another dreaded bug.

When a joystick is used to control the game, and reverse is assigned to a
key on the keyboard, we find reverse will only work for a certain amount of
time, and then the game decides "Okay, let's get rid of this guys ability
to reverse" and we are unable to reverse after being involved in a crash or
a spin.

Has anyone else out there had this same problem, and if so, how did you
correct it?

Thanks in advance,

Cameron..

I've seen this phenomenon when using the joystick for the throttle.
The problem is that the calibration has drifted and the game "thinks"
that you are giving it a little gas when you've centered the joystick.
It won't go into reverse if it thinks you are still trying to go forward.

Try recalibrating the joystick after your computer warms up for a while
and I'll bet the problem goes away.
