Sorry I don't have a fix, but did you try the demo and if you did did it work?

I have the F1RS game from UBISOFT and whenever I try to run the game I get
a system out of memory error.
I have 40megs of ram and the game only needs 15, and everything else
exceeds the recommendations.
I have a Matrox Mystique 4mb card with the latest drivers and directX5.
I have checked the winsock32.dll (like the F1RS support page says to do)
file and it is still the original size of 65k.

Please help me?

P.S. I have also tried quiting all of the unneccessary running programs by
pressing ctrl-alt-del but it still doesn't work.

No I didn't try the demo but I have the game running now. I downloaded the
latest patch and the game loaded, so everything's cool.
Thanks for the reply though.

You probably have to little free hard disk space. I think the game need
something like 100 MB of free space on the HD.
