Personally, I think it's a crock. No matter what you put up a webpage for,
there is going to be another one with the same topic. That's how the web
works. If you want to have a popular webpage, you have to add original
content that makes your site slightly different from the others. Who would
take down their website because someone else told them to? But who cares,
I guess, there are plenty of websites on the internet, probably too many.

cares,
Really... I agree. THe whole thing seems very funny. I did think it was
by far the best GP2 site around. Maybe Pieter objected to that :-)

Frankly I think that Masayard's parting message is a load of garbage. This
guys rantings could fertilise a thousand acres of farm produce.
Masayard says " ... He wanted that I should remove my pages ! Do you want
to know why? Because he wants to
conquer the GP2 world just like Adolf Hitler wanted to conquer the whole
world in the second world war. Think very carefully what
happened then: Great promises, but ... "
No one can make you remove your web pages. What idiotic babble. Just look
at all the highly offensive and very often illegal and imm***stuff that
abounds on the net. If it was possible to force people to remove stuff
then the world's governments wouldn't be wondering how on earth they are
going to police illegal activities on the net. The United States
government can't stop anyone's web page. What's this fool talking about ?
I heard that Adolf used to go into fits and sometimes have to stuff carpet
into his month to stop him from bitting his own tongue. Masayard's bizarre
Hitler reference must indicate that poor old Masayard is subject to the
same condition. Pity that no one was around with a piece of carpet to help
him though these difficult moments.
Masayard says " ... I started few weeks ago working with to hack the GP2
tracks, but I don't have any motivation to work with that project any more.
"
What absolute trash. If you believe this you'll believe anything. There
are far far better hackers around than Masayard, if indeed he knows how to
hack the skin off the top of a rice pudding, who haven't been able to hack
the track code. What's he saying ? That he's got his feelings hurt so
that now he's going to cry about the big bad world instead of doing track
work. Don't insult our intelligence. As far as my work has been involved
the only hacking I've seen him do is to hack off the text file that was
included and then compile it into a group ZIP with himself noted as the
author. What genuine hacking has he ever done ?
IMO this guy is a grade A fake. His parting words are the childish
rantings of a immature dunce. What a joke. What a fool.

I am starting to agree with you. What I liked about his (so-called) stuff,
was that it ('97 season) all was included in one patch. Do the other sites
have everything included in one package like that? I did not think so.

I'm not sure what Masayard included in a single file or not, but as an
example Pieter's 1997 Carset 2.7 contains ...
1997 cars, drivers, helmets, numbers, performance patch that supports all
versions of GP2, pitbox order patch, changed***pit colors to match the
colors of the cars, new pitcrew colors, new wheels, new marshals and an
installation file to make the installation as easy as possible.
This seems somewhat complete to me. The only other thing that I can think
of that you might like are different style***pit and updated trackside
adverti***ts. These things are available in separate files. If you want
to change things further there's an GP2 editor you can download. Have a
look at http://www.racesimcentral.net/
