A couple of quick questions about joysticks.&nbsp;&nbsp; I know the difference
between analog and digital... but I was told by someone today that if you
buy a digital joystick for N2 it will be crappy because when you move the
stick left.... it reads it full left and vice versa for right.&nbsp; In
other words... there is no gradual degrees of turning.. its just full left
or full right ..&nbsp; is this at all true ???&nbsp; I currently use a
Microsoft Sidewinder and have no problems what soever with gameplay (i
know.. get a wheel).

<P>Secondly...&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; I know this was discussed before regarding
DirectX 5.0.&nbsp; In game controllers.. what was it with the setting we
should unclick??&nbsp; Was it the poll interupts ??

The Sidewinder isn't digital in the sense that most gamepads are.
Instead, the Sidewinder uses a digital-optical tracking system with no
moving parts to make it more precise and have more reliable calibration
than traditional sticks with their analog pots.
