Two methods,
1. buy a joystick extension cable (one without the little screwholes),
and attach it, or dangle it near your joystick and wheel, saves
unscrewing and mucking around behind the computer.
2. Buy a joystick switch. I believe there are two main ones available
in the US, the Joyswitch (www.joyswitch.com), and the Quickshot J-Link
(which I found is also sold here in Australia). The J-Link supports up
to 4 joysticks, and you simply slide a switch to select which stick
you want. So you can leave it all plugged in. I have my wheel,
joystick, and gamepad all connected, and simply change the Win95
settings, and flick the switch and we're away.
>I want to drive, I pull the plug on the joystick & plug in the wheel;
>I want to fly, I yank the plug on the wheel & stick in the joystick
>plug.
>Life's no fun anymore; there's gotta be a better way.
> How do I switch from pilot to driver without yanking & shoving
>controller plugs into the back of the computer? I'm going blind trying
>to find the answer on the internet, & I know you people couldn't be
>going through this same song and dance. How do I get around it?
