First off I want to thank Eldred Pickett for allowing me to run in RASCAR. Alot of the people I respect race in that league and I wasnt really sure how I would do as some of the very best race in RASCAR. When I got to the server for some reason I noticed that my connection and quality were crap. First time I had ever seen a 89 quality on my connection as I run from Tampa Bay Road Runner. So I knew I had to cool it for most all of the 76 laps as I didnt want to warp wreck anyone! So never really made an effort until the last 12 laps. Than it was that pesky Eldred Pickett. It was a tight 6 car field until we lost half the field with about 8 or so to go, and than there was 3. I have raced in many leagues and I would have to rate the driving and sportsmanship right with the best. I ws really looking forward to racing John Simmons as he seemed to be one of the fastest in the field, but 2 screen freezes dropped him about 20 laps down. Of courese Dick Tricke seem to lead most of the time. Last but not least let me thank my auto parts performance supply company www.martelbros.com with over 3 GB of data and we sell parts of the top 500 street and drag racing company.. Thanks Don Wilshe I hope you invite the Fing Rookie back.. lol RACE RESULTS (After 76 laps) Pos No Driver Laps Race Time Diff Speed 1 97 Don_Wilshe 76 95m55.543s 126.448 2 18 Steve Brunt 76 95m56.437s 00.894s 126.428 3 103 Jurjen vanderLelij 76 95m58.981s 03.438s 126.373 4 24 Larry Bakesmith 75 93m49.981s 01.637s* 126.412 5 7 Dick Trickle 75 94m11.208s 02.261s* 126.398 6 26 Eldred Pickett 75 94m18.188s 1 lap(s) 126.931 7 19 David Fisher 75 95m59.752s 1 lap(s) 124.693 8 83 Grub Bat 71 96m00.852s 5 lap(s) 118.020 9 96 Neil Charlton 50 63m52.559s 26 lap(s) 124.930 10 43 John Simmons 49 70m24.828s 27 lap(s) 111.064 11 67 Uwe Schuerkamp 43 57m05.084s 33 lap(s) 120.221 12 34 Tim White 27 40m55.937s 49 lap(s) 105.277 13 49 ZZ Busch 23 32m33.339s 53 lap(s) 112.755 14 98 Larry B 7 9m51.264s 69 lap(s) 113.371 15 27 Brian Oster 7 9m51.381s 69 lap(s) 113.348 16 68 Ian Parker 2 1m48.351s 74 lap(s) 176.759 17 123 Andrew Batishko 0 0m00.000s 76 lap(s) -- Donald Wilshe 888 588-9207 Martel Brothers Performance, Worlds Largest On-Line Auto Parts Mfg Catalog Library www.martelbros.com Other Interest: www.ivga.com www.games-advertising.com www.whra.com
Congrats on the win, Don. That was a fun race all around. Anytime you are hoping for a yellow so you don't run out of fuel can't be bad. There was some sustained 2-wide bunched up racing. I can hardly imagine doing that in real life. Those guys are crazy! Also, since my last drive format I lost the Rascar car files (even my car). I searched racesim central before the race but couldn't locate them. Can someone please point me in the right direction? Thanks, Steve
