Yep, good work Luke.... The original poll and peoples comments can be found here: http://forum.racesimcentral.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=44470 We hope Luke will instigate a similar poll in a few months, then we'll announce it on the front of RSC and here in RAS to hopefully make even more people vote. We should also change the format so people could give points to e.g. 5 sims (10, 6, 4, 2 & 1 point) That should give a better picture of people favourite sims. well, i guess it depends a bit on which forum/site this poll took place. of course i like gpl, but this must be a gpl-fan-crowded site obviously. then, seeing that LFS "Demo" (good game!) is 2nd here makes me think that a sim-racer must be some kind of disappointed nature, disappointed by the sim-racing gaming industry. viper is quite a cool/relaxing game, i wasn't surprised seeing it on 4th place. uhm....place 6 and 10 (which i supposed to be on top) counted together have as many votes as LFS and only a third of gpl, now is that representative ? oh, and sorry for the critics, i did not put on my flame-suite before entering gpl.autos.simulators ;) "Luke Phillips" <(NOSPM)[email hidden]> schrieb im Newsbeitrag news:hABo9.19151$[email hidden]...

You are right... RSC is/was very much centered around the world of GPL, and of course that shows in the result. I think a lot would look different though if people had had the chance to distribute their votes a bit more instead of picking just one game. LFS in second place is in my view a good thing as it shows that we have somethning really good to hope for in the future. The thing I wonder most about is why Racer is not places higher despite being "our" own simulation.... guess the lack of multiplayer and AI really kills it ? Anyways hope Luke will instigate a polling in a few months again....
