Someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong.
I'll save everyone the trouble of listing all my settings, but I went
extreme and set everything to be as tight as possible (e.g. wedge
+4.0) Everything. I still loose the back in the corner. I usally
spin out coming off pit road as well. I don't get it.
(Not that they're really similar, but I dominated 2002)

You use a stick or a wheel?
Problem with sticks (or using a button on a wheel) is that the accellerator
is either full on or full off.
I dunno if this is your problem or not, but applying full gas to a stopped,
or slowed stock car tends to make the rear end of the car want to go faster
than the front end, and it will spin.
If you're using pedals, though, you may just need to be a bit softer on the
gas.
