The game will now ship with the network code included - preventing the need for a multiplayer patch. Apologies to all those who have been waiting for the game or who were hoping to purchase it for Christmas. Hopefully the fact that the multiplayer element will now be included will compensate for this to some degree. I also apologise to anyone who had been misled by our assurances that the game would still be released in November. Up until Monday, it was still hoped that the game would make its pre-christmas date. Unfortunately delays in the submission process for the US PS2 version has had a knock on effect on the PC title. 27th October 2002 14:42

In a way, this is a good sign. It shows (maybe) that developers are starting to understand the need/demand for solid online multiplayer capabilities. -Larry "rrevved" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...

Funny thing is, EB has been showing the release date as Feb. 2003 for over a month now. Don't know what they are showing online, but I know a guy who runs an EB Games store and I have asked him several times since the PS2 release to check on the availability of the US PC and Xbox versions. When he checked the in-store computer, it always showed Feb. 2003 for these versions of the game. Guess they must be psychic. ;o) "rrevved" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...
