After leading the race and going to pit! Tell me I wasnt surprised when
I came out after a pit stop 12 seconds behind. hehe. Dont know what happen
we all took 4 wheels. Pit stop i thought was good. But congrads to
Brain for winning. Tim White got 2nd and he as fast as usual. Well maybe
next race!

Don,
One thing you may consider is Brian and I pitted together and we didn't come in until turn 4. And Brian nailed his entrance.
Also, when we came out we immediately had a draft and kept it like that for the remainder of the race. I did notice that you didn't have anyone with you.
Check the replay to see if that made a difference or was it something else.
When David raced us at Lowes he and I pitted together under green. But when we left and got up to speed he was 6+ seconds ahead of me, and I never had a chance. I watched the replay and I thought I did a decent job of getting out, certainly not 6 seconds worse than his effort. I asked him and in talking he pointed out that he left the pits in 3rd and went right to 4th gear. He said he learned a while ago that he had a lot better control of the car when exiting the pits and getting around turn 2 and into 3. I practiced it only a few times but so far haven't mastered it.

Colin made "The Stop"... I got in and out fast but Colin had a .6 lead on me and he also had JoonLi to draft with. I had to drive like a bat out of hell but was still unable to regain the draft. While I was running alone Brian and Tim made up 3+ secs and blew past me and my worn out car. Wilshe woulda got the spot from me if we had a lap or two left but I managed to make it with a red rf.. Fun race when ya can get in a green stop..

Tim it was 100% my fault. I should of pitted better. When i pitted I was in the lead. I pitted
only 2 laps after you and when i came back I was 7 seconds behind you.. it just screwed up..
but your advice is always great and precise.. Don

Turns out that was not such a good thing, as I screwed up and ran him into the wall trying to get a lap back...

Almost nailed you too.:) I came in pretty hot and was pratically
standing on the brakes.
I have found that when I exit the pits, if I shift to 3rd sooner I get
up to speed quicker because I have better control of the car. If I
had a little bit better throttle control 2nd would probably be better
unil red-line but... I also usually do restarts in 2nd as I have
found that I get better restarts as well.
